1. The Vision: Our In-House Perfumers
Each Salsabil creation begins with a collaboration between our in-house French and South Asian perfumers. By pairing the classical "Nose" techniques of Grasse, France, with the deep, ancestral knowledge of South Asian attar-making and spice-blending, we create complex compositions that are both globally sophisticated and culturally resonant.
2. Ethical & Rare Sourcing
We believe that a perfume is only as good as its raw materials. We source our ingredients from the most prestigious regions in the world:
• From France: We procure delicate florals like Rose de Mai and Jasmine from the sun-drenched fields of Provence, known for their unmatched purity and elegance.
• From South Asia: we source the world’s finest Ouds, creamy Sandalwood from Mysore, and rare spices like hand-picked Saffron and Cardamom, providing the depth and warmth that define our brand’s DNA.
3. The Art of Maceration
True luxury cannot be rushed. Once our oils are blended, they undergo a maturation and maceration process that typically takes 6 to 8 weeks.
• Maturation: We allow the raw essences to "marry" in stainless steel tanks, ensuring the top, heart, and base notes harmonize perfectly.
• Maceration: After the oils are aged, they are blended with high-grade perfumer’s alcohol and left to rest in a temperature-controlled environment. This patience ensures that the final scent is smooth, potent, and develops beautifully on your skin.
